Berkline 12003 Reno Manual Recline Black Leather

"The seats look great. The quality of the leather is as good as expected. However, they are not as tall or wide as advertised. The advertized dimensions are 44" tall and 26" wide, but they are really 42" tall and 25" wide. Customer service indicated, after the fact, that the manufacturer allows a 2 inch variance. This would have been nice to know before the purchase. If you are a tall person (I'm 6'3") and expect these seats to cradle your head, you should look elsewhere. The depth of the seat is a bit short as well. I'm giving the seats 2.5 stars, with high marks for quality and looks, but low marks for the dimensional surprise."

"I couldn't believe I was going to order a chair that I had never sat in but I took the chance and was totally thrilled with these seats. I like good lumbar support in a chair and based on the picture, these looked like they might work. I was very nervous until the seats arrived and we got to sit in them. Very good support for the back, head and legs in these seats. I can sit through an entire movie without back pain. The leather is smooth and supple and very soft to the touch. Everyone loves these seats! Very happy with my purchase. Excellent seller also."

"Exceptional piece of furniture. Not my first piece of leather but probably best. Arrived sooner than promised, Very comfortable, but they say its' a push button recline. No it's a wire covered with plastc pull between seat and cushion. That and instuctions on putting back on seat, had trouble with 2 of the 3 pieces, you must push back down at center, evenly. Other than that great product Will be back for 3 more."

"I am sitting in my awesome chairs, the leather feels and smells great, they got here in record time and were simple to attach. I hope when my pals come over and see them they might order some for themselves. I can't wait for the buttkicker, the Reno chairs was an excellent choice and even better in person.

I am friggin thrilled and want more seats! I bought a Samsung home theatre this weekend, and Braveheart is blowing me away as I type, at 6'6" it's hard to find such a comfortable chair and the leather is gorgeous, my laptop fits perfectly on the snack tray as an added bonus. "I"m around 6"3 and my wife around 5"9. Because of its high back and "chaise" style footrest this seat was out top pick. I tend to find most seats dont fit me well because of my height - but these are excellent - amazing head support. I highly recommend The Reno for anyone who is tall!!"

"I did a lot of research on my seating choices so let me share some of that knowledge with you as to what made this the best seat for me. Buying theater seats is important because apart from the fact that it costs almost as much as a second hand car, its something that you are going to be relying on for comfort for years to come. I had a pair of LazyBoy recliners which are nearly 15 years old and look like they were bought yesterday so if you buy quality, they are going to last a long time. Berkline was my choice because after reading all the forums, they by far get the best overall quality review for home theater seating in the US market. Warranty was also a big factor - if I'm spending $5k on seats, I want to know that if something goes wrong there is not going to be a problem fixing them, So once I decided on the manufacturer, it was a question of style, The Berkline Matinee or 45090 was my obvious first choice but this seat is the Matinee and so much more. In fact, its the same base as the 45090 but with a higher back and different armrests. The armrests on this seat have ample storage and a tray table with a slightly higher back which works well for me because I am 6ft tall. As for the price, its hard to beat because this seat is made by Berkline in their Asia facility and with the same warranty as the local product and we all know that Asia produces products at a huge discount to here. The quality on a direct comparison to the Berkline 45090 is, in my opinion exactly the same. Comfort is excellent and I actually had a chance to sit in both seats before I bought them. Maybe my only complaint is that this seat is not available in dark brown but only black and it was the ideal fit for my theater room. If you have questions, ask for Pete....he was very helpful and pleasure to deal with."

"We picked these seats since we wanted a storage compartment in the arms for our remotes and stuff. The tray table is also great since we tend to eat our meals in front of the tv. Our media room looks fantastic with these chairs."

"Very happy....the storage is great and leather is top grain not BONDED LEATHER like some of the other online dealers are selling.  Overall great experience buying from these guys - thought they were very informative and actually stopped me from buying the same seat from someone else who offered it cheaper but didn't disclose it was bonded leather instead of top grain. Bonded leather is the lowest quality leather...ground leather mixed with glue and polished to look authentic.....beware out there, ask only for top grain.

"If you are looking for a set for your HTPC, look no further, these are the seats for you. The comfort is just the beginning. The tables actually work perfectly with a mouse and the arm rest is just the right height so your arm is relaxed. The wedges also give you tons of room to store stuff in. I will be putting a wireless USB hub to connect stuff from the pc inside. The storage must be around 18"deep so there is tons of room. The theater seat store also was great to deal with. I even got these a couple days early so I couldn't be happier."
