The stitch count is 7 per inch, which helps to reinforce and retain the integrity of the upholstery.

The kiln-dried hardwood frame features glued and blocked joints and is crafted using Mortise and Tenon style construction and reinforced with 8.5 gauge no-sag steel springs. The Leggett and Platt mechanism offers an upscale sturdiness to the piece as this steel industry standard offers years of active use by family, friends, kids, and pets. This mechanism is activated by a subtle recessed d-ring pull located on the sides of the arms.
