Stress plays a pivotal role in our everyday life. Everyday we encounter situations where stress is involved. From taking tests and job interviews to the birth of a child and watching your son or daughter take the potential game winning shot, stress is everywhere. Stress is everywhere in our lives and can be good or bad.

Good Stress Versus Bad Stress

Good stress is the rush of adrenaline that you get when competing in sports, job, school or any other place where you can use that extra push. Bad stress is a pressure that can be put upon yourself from a variety of stressors such as work, homelife, schoolwork and many others. Bad stress can cause your blood pressure to rise, and unless it is unchecked you could have a negative effect on your health.

 

Since stress plays a big part of our lives, it is vital that we either reduce the bad stress and properly manage the overall stress. There are several easy to incorporate ways to control your stress for a healthier life. During times of stress you can take a few moments to take a brief walk to clear your mind, listen to music, play a game or anything else that can take you mind off the stressful situation. Once your mind is clearer, your stress will be reduced, and you can be more productive.
