Mortise and Tenon Construction is in place on all the joints within the kiln dried hardwood frame. This ensures that your frame will remain intact during active family use. The recline mechanism is a top of the line Leggett and Platt model crafted of solid steel with delrin bushings. The activated mechanism requires only 2.5 lbs of pressure to open the footrest, and provides a smooth glide with very minimal noise.

Cushioning is reinforced with 30 individually pocketed coil springs and high density foam. Sinuous springs are buckled to the frame to support the cushions and provide full reinforcement.
