This buffet is not just about aesthetics, it's about ease of use too. Crafted with high-quality Pecky Hickory Veneers and featuring a solid wood-edged top, it's designed for easy assembly. The buffet is finished in Vintage Natural, an organic finish that highlights the veneers' unique knots and wood grain patterns, adding to its natural and authentic look.
The Big Sky Dining Buffet is not just a beautiful piece, it's also highly functional. It features four doors with soft-close hinges, ensuring they close gently and quietly without slamming. Behind each pair of doors, you will find one self-closing drawer and one adjustable shelf, providing ample storage space for your dining essentials. The right side drawer also includes a removable felt liner, perfect for storing delicate and valuable items. The left side drawer comes with a removable silverware tray, allowing you to keep your cutlery organized and easily accessible.
One of the most unique features of the Big Sky Dining Buffet is its interior finish. Inspired by the beauty of a fire-ravaged forest, the interior is finished in Charred Timber, adding a touch of natural and rustic charm to the piece. This unique detail sets the buffet apart from others and adds character to your dining space, making it an exciting addition to your home.
The Big Sky Collection from Hooker Furniture
The natural beauty and near-mystical experience of the American wilderness inspires a spirited collection from Hooker Furniture, a celebration of dramatic vistas and the freedom to roam, a land of rough-hewn timber and towering snow-capped peaks, boundless plains, and calm, clear mountain lakes. Hooker brings home a dream of wide-open spaces and a life lived in tandem with iconic landscapes with furnishings that evoke the weight, heft, and heritage of post and beam construction, the mark and artistry of true craftspeople, and substantive, thoughtful designs right for today. Watch for warm, rustic, hickory veneer and rich finishes like charred timber, dusk, and avalanche, organic textures like burlap and top grain leather, forged hardware, and classic moldings for the traditionalist. Those with a more modern bent will be thrilled by the clean lines of waterfall edges, crosshatch surfaces, and planking details that speak to authenticity and the hand of the maker. These elements bring a contemporary twist to the collection, adding excitement and a sense of the future. Welcome to the peaceful, easy feeling of Big Sky. It’s time to breathe.
Hooker Furniture Finishes
Hooker Furniture employs a meticulous multi-step finishing process of up to 16 steps, resulting in unmatched clarity, depth, color, richness, and resilience in our finishes. Our expert hand-crafting techniques, including rubbing and padding, enhance the appearance and offer a pleasant smoothness to the touch.
Hooker Furniture Frame Construction
We carefully select solid wood and premium wood veneers to construct our furniture. Using veneers allows for more intricate and decorative designs that cannot be achieved with solid wood alone. These veneers are placed over long-lasting materials like medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, which are both made from renewable resources. These materials are used in high-quality furniture to provide stability, particularly for larger surfaces.

Just received my 2 Potter Club chairs in Old Saddle Fudge Crocodile and I am thrilled with them. Love that there is velcro to keep the seat cushion in place. They are very comfortable, I'm 5'3 and my husband 6' and we both agree!!! The fudge color is dark but not one note. These chairs are only going to look better with age!
