In order to keep children safe from harmful objects and cleaners. One of the best ways to keep harmful items is to keep them out of reach of children. If the child is toddler aged, they are only able to reach a certain level. Any harmful products therefore should be kept in higher cabinets or shelves where the children can not reach them.

Other harmful products such as medications, household cleaners and other similar products need to be kept in a locked cabinet or drawer so that children can not get to them. Many drawers and kitchen cabinets can have simple locks placed over them to keep children from opening them. Other dangers such as knives or firearms should be kept in locked cabinets to protect children from accidental usage. Some other typical household items which can pose dangers are kitchen stoves, dishwashers, hot water on the taps and others.
