Oasis Outdoor Sofa (Made to order fabrics)

The Oasis sofa is the deep seating anchor of the collection, an 85 inch outdoor sofa built around a wide track arm and a 75 inch cushion span. It is the widest seating piece in the Oasis program, sized for a covered porch or a poolside room where three people should be able to sit without negotiating for space.

Design and Construction

Hand-woven synthetic wicker is worked over a premium powder-coated aluminum frame using double wall construction, which is what gives the sofa its solid feel and its ability to carry a long span without flex. The weave is a classic basket pattern in variegated tones, accented by a decorative plaited chevron design that runs as a contrast band through the frame. The wide track arm is broad enough to set a glass on and gives the sofa its grounded, horizontal line.

Comfort and Seating

Deep seating is the point: 22 inches of seat depth at a 21 inch height across 75 inches of usable width, so you sit back into the cushion rather than perching on the front edge. The 25 inch arm height is tall enough to lean a shoulder against with a pillow, and it lines up with the Oasis lounge chairs and loveseat for a level grouping. At 148 pounds the sofa stays firmly in place on an exposed deck through a summer storm.
